Allana Ferguson bio

Allana was first a part of Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Following multiple knee injuries over many years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana made her debut as a woman in the league game against Queensland for New South Wales. Allana also added radio to the game, and has frequent appearances in 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana is a teacher with a complete qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson holds the rare distinction of being a representative of Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos rugby superstar and a fourth-time tear in the ACL was forced to end her career in football. The 25-year-old has previously tore the ligament on the same knee when she was between the ages of 15 and 17 and following a 4th tear, it meant Ferguson's time was up. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker is required to quit the team early after suffering a 4th left ACL tear. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she suffered the injury during training during November. She was a face of women's Rugby League for several seasons.
